April 6th Update on R-SIM IV Unlock for iPhone 4 Baseband 4.11.08

Here’s a bit of update on the R-SIM IV unlock for iPhone 4 on baseband 4.11.08.

More than a week ago the developer of R-SIM interposer for iPhone 4S announced that they were able to unlock iPhone 4 with baseband 4.11.08. Since the “10 days” deadline is almost up, they posted an update on their website.

UPDATE April 5th

Apparently it is not easy to unlock iphone 4 baseband 4.11.08, but at this time we have at least 50% to unlock the iphone 4, so we still need 1 week more or less to improve the program, and please stop sending email to us, just add our facebook page or twitter or keep an eye on our site, we will update the info once it is available,

Also it is not a April joker.

At least there’s an update, unlike the “promise” made by Apple’n'Berry back in February.

Let’s see how this goes and hopefully it’s really not “a April joker”.

PS3 JFW DH MA Debug JMB Selector v1.0 Demonstration

Today aquilino has made available a PS3 JFW DH MA Debug JMB Selector v1.0 alongside a demonstration video of it in action for Custom Firmware users.

Following up on PS Vita Firmware v1.65, today Sony has released PS Vita System Software update v1.66 with details being added below.

For those curious, Sony has removed PS Vita update v1.65 from PlayStation Network due to a technical fault related to adhoc play in PSP titles.

While there is no official changelog posted yet PlayStation Vita Firmware 1.66 is expected to remedy this issue for users.

Games using the Quake Engine such as KurokPSP(and probably Quake itself) now work! Geometry Wars Portable, which was also not working for some reason, is now working fine.

However keep in mind though that ISO/CSO files can still not be played using this loader. It is meant for homebrew purposes.

I knew it might be a problem, but decided I wanted access to PS Store more than I wanted the homebrew stuff.

Result - no more access to homebrew, so DON'T upgrade to 1.65 if you want to keep VHBL working.

Hi, everyone. The next PS Vita System Software Update (v1.65) will be released soon and will include the following minor enhancements:

• A “Notification Alert” option will be added to Settings, so you can toggle alerts on or off
• “After 10 minutes” will be added to the time options under Power Save Settings
• An Arrow icon will now appear when PS Vita finds new activities in the LiveArea
• Caps Lock will be supported in the On Screen Keyboard

Don’t forget: there are several ways to update the firmware on your PS Vita:

• Select “System Update” under the “Settings” menu and download the firmware directly to your PS Vita over Wi-Fi.
• Connect your PS Vita to a PS3 or a PC/Mac and update via Content Manager.

PS - The game reports that the save file is corrupted and won't allow the game to run before you allow it to create a new savegame.

I tried re-installing the game and the exploit, the open file manager still allows the exploit to be copied over, but the game still insists the save file is corrupt - so preventing VHBL from initiating.
